Anti-Spam Policy

The following are some examples of spamming that may violate the Terms of Service and MobyNet’s Universal Anti-Spam Policy:

When you sign up for the MobyMail app suite or custom business domain MobyWorks account, you agree not to use the account to send spam, distribute viruses, or otherwise abuse the service. All free MobyMail users and/or users of custom business email domain addresses subscribing to MobyWorks are subject to these agreements, and if you have integrated Moby with Google Workspace, or other services, such as Windows 365, or others’ free-email services from AOL to Yahoo mail, the terms by association which are part of the Google Workspace Acceptable Use Policy, or these other services will also continue to apply in such hybridized use cases.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS

MobyNet Corp., MobyMail and MobyWorks anti-spam terms and conditions include: 

  • Authentication: Bulk senders must authenticate their emails using SPF, DKIM, and DMARC 

  • Unsubscribe: Bulk senders must allow users to unsubscribe in one click 

  • Spam threshold: Bulk senders must keep their spam complaint rate below 0.3% 

  • Message format: Messages must be formatted according to the Internet Message Format standard, RFC 5322 

  • No impersonation: Bulk senders must not impersonate From: headers 

  • ARC headers: Forwarding services must add ARC headers to outgoing email 

  • DNS records: Sending domains or IPs must have valid forward and reverse DNS records 

  • TLS connection: Bulk senders must use a TLS connection for transmitting email 

  • No abuse: Users must not abuse, harm, interfere with, or disrupt MobyMail app suite and MobyNet services or systems 

Gmail [replace globally with MobyNet] will: 

  • Flag emails that don't meet the standards repeatedly as spam 

  • Suspend users who violate the agreements 

  • Suspend the entire account if the problem is domain-wide 

  • Reject a percentage of non-compliant email traffic 

You can report abuse by MobyMail or MobyWorks user to MobyNet by:

Violations of our Terms of Service or this Universal Spam Policy including the limitation on the number of addresses that may be included in one address without registering as an authorized content provider with MobyNet subject to opt-in laws and rules, may result in legal action against you and the termination, without notice, of your MobyNet ID and/or anything associated with it, including, but not limited to, email accounts, clubs, posts, home pages, and profiles. Nothing in this policy is intended to grant any right to transmit email to or through MobyNet computer and distributed software network protocols or systems. MobyNet does not waive any rights by the failure to enforce this policy in every instance in which it might apply.

NOTICE: Sending unsolicited email advertisements to or through MobyNet computer systems, will use or cause to be used MobyNet servers or users’ devices that may be located in California are subject to California regulations. Any unauthorized use of MobyNet computer systems is a violation of the MobyNet Terms of Service, Universal Spam Policy, and certain federal and state laws, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030 et seq.), Section 502 of the California Penal Code, and Section 17538.45 of the California Business and Professions Code. Such violations may subject the sender and his or her agents to civil and criminal penalties.
